BOARD OF GOVERNORS

Kids Hope School is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprising of parents and relations of children, who works closely with the Parents-Teachers-Association. We have a steering committee which oversees the day –to-day activities in the School. This committee is made up of people who are resident in the Community

Director

Dr. Mrs Zipporah Duguryil is the Director of Kids Hope School and Rehabilitation Center. she works closely with the coordinator and the team to achieve desired goals. She has the following profile: PhD Science Education from Benue State University, MSc Chemistry Ed., University of Jos , Nigeria,BSc Chemistry Education, University of Jos , Nigeria Certificate in Community Development Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi Nigeria Dr. Mrs. Zipporah Lectures at the National Open University of Nigeria as well as the Federal college of Education, Pankshin Plateau State. She also served as Rehabilitation & community Development Officer, Friends of the Environment Nigeria (FEN) 2003-2004

Program Director, Water and Sanitation with the NGO FEN 2005, Zonal Training Secretary of the NGO: Fellowship of Christian Students Mangu Central, Nigeria. She is a successful entrepreneur with Research interest in Gender, Mentoring & Social inclusion of Girls.

Mr. Henry David is the Coordinator and Board Secretary. He works to see to the day to day running of the school. He has a MSc. Degree in Biology Education and a 21 years teaching and lecturing experience.  He holds a certificate in International Wholistic Development and passionately works to end oppression of the disadvantaged their self actualisation through skills development. He is on the board of several organisations.

Other members of Board are:

Venerable Revd. E. J. Gongden, formerly Board Director, he is an erudite scholar and a man of God. He is the Vicar of St. Pirans Church on the Plateau.

Mrs Grace Techi is an Education Officer working with the Plateau StatePrimary Education Board . She serves as Treasurer for the Board.

Nde Wilfred Lawrence Idi: A seasoned Educationist and Child psychologists. He has worked with youth in Sierra Leone and Nigeria on empowerment issues. He Assistant Director of the Board.

 Mrs. Chaawen Gowon   represents the interest of community on board.  She is a teacher and studies religion in the university of jos Nigeria.

Micheal Haruna is a medical personnel and represents the interest of parents and care givers on Board
